"The MA$QUERADE" is J-FRIZZ'S first debut mixtape. It was released on September 23, 2018, independently. The entire production on the mixtape was handled by J-FRIZZ himself. The mixtape features only one guest appearance from Florida artist "Beef Yoda". The mixtape incorporates elements from trap and gangsta rap, J-FRIZZ has stated that the production and rhyme schemes used throughout the mixtape was inspired by modern-day trap music but he wanted to keep his own unique style of flow compared to the "choppy, mumble flow" that the majority of other artists are using in today's trap music culture.
